A spokesman for 'gaygolddiggers' said, “Ronaldo’s ripped body, slicked-back hair, shiny white teeth and jewellery swung the votes his way. He looks like any gay dude or woman’s dream. No comment has yet been made by Ronaldo on this promptly bit of success this season, but he will surely want to retain the title when the survey is held again next year.

Gay rights group complains over Cristiano Ronaldo abuse
The Spanish Observatory against lesbian, male lover, bisexual and trans person phobia took up the complaint with Spain’s State Commission against Violence in Sport after sections of the Barca support were heard to chant “maricon” – an insulting term used to describe a same-sex attracted man.
Observatory director Francisco Ramirez said of the abuse from the Camp Nou stands: “These deplorable and shameful acts are punishable according to the commandment of sport (2007).
“It is necessary to clarify that homophobia does not necessarily mean that people who suffer are homosexual, but only that other people believe it or use it to insult, harass and humiliate others.”
The Express Commission can impose punishments on clubs and supporters who are found responsible of such offences.
