Chris, You may delete this topic if it's not an appealing topic. This is the only thing that popped out of my mind.

As long as we set a purpose and we are determined to realize our passions and goals, our determination is limitless.

Maybe Monsterverse would want to bring back those scenes.

Cool Godzilla,
Dude. There was no deleted scene of Godzilla and Kong kissing. It was a joke.

SHIP WAR! SHIP WAR! SHIP WAR! SHIP WAR! SHIP WAR! SHIP WA

It's time to expand our viewing queues to include Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. The three main characters are all non-white and Cate Randa (middle) is a lesbian. Now that’s something to celebrate! While Apple TV may perform nothing to advertise their shows, especially action-adventure-packed thrillers with diverse casts prefer Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, we can do our part to spread the word. This display is fantastic, has genuine queer visibility, and has growing stakes as imposing as Godzilla himself. The consequences of nuclear war are also extensively explored!

Godzilla the Gay Icon?

Godzilla is more than just a hulking monster with Chornobyl-like laser breath. Some people think his new look in the trailer for 'Godzilla x Kong The New Empire,' where he adorns magenta scales while powering up, is a sign of the ‘woke left’ invading monster media. This opinion is stupid and laughable - the queerification of the Godzilla franchise won’t reach from pink spikes on his back; it comes from meaningful relationships the humans helping/hunting concern for. Monster movies are always about the people trying to survive and how far they’ll

In June 2020, stop-motion animator Cressa Maeve Aine delivered a short film entitled Coming Out. Utilizing deed figures of Godzilla, Baragon, and Godzilla Jr., this short concerned Godzilla Jr. coming out as a trans girl to her father. Coming Out was a remarkable creative undertaking, in part, because the piece was devoid of dialogue save for roars and other noises emitted by the gigantic beasts.. This deeply moving brief wrung superb pathos out of depicting Godzilla Jr. embracing herself and Godzilla being a nice supportive cis dad. Aine delivered a terrific piece of filmmaking full of tender heart, impressive animation, and great sight gags. (Godzilla with his little reading glasses!)

The short became widespread enough to get distributed by the official Toho Godzilla Twitter account! This piece of social media activity was done for Pride Month, but it also signified how sizable of a queer fanbase Godzilla has cultivated. After all, it’s hard to imagine the official social media pages for Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, or other big media properties sharing art viewing a canon character as trans without causing a bigoted uproar. Meanwhile, the majority of online Godzilla fans welc

BAKER STREET

The Japanese are famously ahead of the rest of us, what with their robot secretaries and automated assembly lines and soft-porn game shows. But a little-seen, underappreciated work of East Asian cinema from 1973 suggests they include long been more accepting of alternative lifestyles as well. It’s a film demonstrating that the bond between two men can be as strong as any other and that love conquers even the greatest obstacles.

The call of this unheralded art-house gem is Godzilla vs. Megalon.

Not lgbtq+ MMA fighter Norifumi Yamamoto has nothing to do with this story other than being Japanese. I just figured a shirtless dude was obligatory, given the title of this post.

Yeah, I’m talking about the same film that once served as Mystery Science Theater 3000 fodder. I am also aware that the phrases, “one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen” and “Godzilla versus Megalon,” have often appeared in the same sentence. Well, people once said those things about The Godfather,* which is now universally considered a masterpiece.

It’s time to give Godzilla his due.
