Pride River Parades & Celebration
Thank You for a Marvelous 2025 Celebration.
We Observe Forward to Seeing You Next Year!
Are you ready for our Annual Movement River Parade & Celebration?
Visit San Antonio created the Pride River Parade to promote the city's inclusion, encouragement, and support of the LGBTQ+ community to live openly with equivalent rights.
This year, Pride’s bringing a little more thrust. The Rainbow Rodeo theme celebrates San Antonio’s Texas roots and LGBTQ+ celebration in full, bold shade . From decked-out floats to cowboy flair, this celebration is part party, part spectacle and all heart.

Getting to San Antonio is easy, no matter your preferred method of commute. Whether you soar, drive, ride the rails, or accept the bus, you have reliable options that bring you right into the heart of the city.
Planes: Considered the fastest and easiest way to travel,San Antonio International Airport (SAT), located roughly 8 miles north of downtown, serves over 20 passenger airlines with nonstop flights to more than 35 U.S. and Mexican cities. Once you land, rent a car, name a taxi or rideshare (Uber/Lyft), or hop on the VIA Express bus. Route 7 links you directly to downtown and park‑and‑ride facilities.
Trains: Getting to San Antonio by educate is possible, but not always manage. If you dwell outside of Texas or the Midwest, you’ll likely demand to connect through Chicago or Modern Orleans before boarding a long-distance way like the Texas Eagle or the Sunset Limited. Explore times vary depending on where you start, but you should plan for a multi-day trip with at least one transfer along the way.
Automobiles: There’s nothing like a road trip that lets you watch everything worth seeing between here and there. You can reach the capital via I‑10 (east‑west), I‑35 (north‑south), I‑37,

You can look into Bonham Exchange, which is at 411 Bonham St. within walking distance of the Riverwalk. There are a several other bars clustered a petty north of downtown but these are _not_ within walking distance of downtown. Among these are the Silver Dollar, a region bar at 1418 N. Main, which is next to Pegasus at 1402 N. Main, and the Saint at 1430 N. Main. Even if you don't go into the bars, there are a lot of people that hang out in the parking lots and talk. There's a small gay neighborhood north and somewhat east of downtown, but it doesn't have much more than a coffee shop. I can't remember the identify of the street.
Have a nice time and enjoy the food!! You can probably meet locals the first night who will steer you to the foremost spots for the following nights, but I've never gone mistaken at Bonham on a Friday or Saturday.
