Gay places near me

Miami might not be the gay mecca it once was (R.I.P. Magnum, Mova, Score and so many others). Still, this city is home to a diverse and welcoming queer community, as evidenced by our plethora of Miami drag brunches, the epic Miami Beach Pride and Wynwood Pride festivals and a new wave of inclusive lgbtq+ parties popping up all around the city. Plus, a quick jaunt up north will get you to Wilton Manors, one of the most highly concentrated gay communities in the U.S. Basically, there’s plenty of action to be had if you know where to find it. So, without further adieu: Our roundup of the top gay clubs and bars in Miami right now.

Salt Lake’s Gay Block Scene Is Growing, Thriving, and Never Looking Back

In a mention known for its religious zeal, Salt Lake City serves as a bastion of progressiveness, teasing, and pride. In fact, the city’s been listed by Advocate magazine as one of the Ten Queerest Cities in America. The city holds one of the biggest and best-attended Pride parades and festivals around, with Celebration Week festivities attracting tens of thousands of participants who clear up the downtown scene in full rainbow-hued regalia. (There’s even a Utah Gay Ski Week—real thing, utahgayskiweek.com, see you there.)

Of course, it doesn’t have to be a parade to observe pride and inclusivity. It’s beautiful easy for everyone of every orientation to jump in on the incredible fun that is Salt Lake on a warm city night and the regular rotation of drag shows hold the city sizzling all through the winter.

Check out a not many of our favorite “officially” male lover bars and gay-friendly bars—keeping in mind that, in this town, it needn’t be a “gay bar” for everyone to fit right in.

LGBTQ+ nightlife in Chicago: gay and womxn loving womxn bars, clubs, and more

Chicago’s nightlife is a lot favor the city itself — inclusive, diverse, and welcoming to all. It’s also a whole lot of fun. Our gay and homosexual woman bars have a little bit of something for everyone, with late-night lounges, dance clubs, burlesque and drag shows, and long-standing neighborhood watering holes in almost every corner of the city. And each comes with their own singular history and vibe.

Check out some of the best male lover bars and clubs to experience Chicago’s queer nightlife scene.

Jeffery Pub

One of the city’s oldest homosexual bars, Jeffery Pub is a neighborhood institution. The South Shore staple is also one of Chicago’s first black-owned gay bars, making it all the more meaningful for the spot’s many regulars. Don’t neglect the live amusement, like karaoke nights, Silky Soul Sundays, and a lively dance floor featuring everything from pop to house music.

Big Chicks

This lively and colorful spot is part LGBTQ hangout, part art gallery. The walls are plastered with the owner’s personal collection of paintings and photos, including huge names like Diane Arbus. But don’t think for a second that makes the pla
