Paris tourism officials want to grant new meaning to the term "Gay Paree."
The French capital has always wooed visitors with its reputation for satisfactory dining and elevated fashion, and Paris continually cashes in on its mystique as the area of love and romance.
Now, City Hall has a brand-new strategy: selling Paris as a principal destination for lgbtq+ travelers.
At the mayor's office and the tourism bureau, which has funded a press junket this week for journalists from American male lover publications, officials notify it the next frontier of tourism.
"We want to design a gay approachable spirit across the whole city," said Laurent Queige, one of the project's organizers at Metropolis Hall. "It's an entire marketing campaign devoted to queer tourism: promotions, brochures, media trips, Web sites, tour packages."
Officials in Paris declare they are encouraged by a trend toward greater tolerance but are still battling conservatism and homophobia.

Gay Paree Peony features bold lightly-scented pink flowers with creamy colorless centers at the ends of the stems from late spring to prior summer. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its compound leaves are flash green in color. The foliage often turns coppery-bronze in fall.
Landscape Attributes
Gay Paree Peony is an herbaceous perennial with a more or less rounded develop. Its medium texture blends into the garden, but can always be even by a couple of finer or coarser plants for an effective composition.
